Ravindra Polke is a handicapped individual in his late-30’s and is currently undergoing treatment for renal failure (malfunctioning of kidney). He needs to undergo dialysis thrice a week as his creatinine levels are exceptionally higher than normal. At present, he can afford dialysis only once a week (at Mallika hospital, Jogeshwari) owing to financial difficulties. A single visit to the doctor costs him approximately Rs. 700, which includes dialysis charges, medicines and injections.
We, at YHMA have contributed a total of Rs. 3400. We are also following up with Dr. Umesh Khanna at Borivali for treatment, guidance and further course of action. Currently, Ravindra is need of additional funds in order to increase the frequency of dialysis treatment per week. We urge you to come forward and help Ravindra by dropping a cheque in lieu of "Mallika Hospital
